Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle databases, including tables, views, indexes, and other database objects.
- Write, optimize, and debug complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
- Collaborate with business analysts and other developers to translate business requirements into technical specifications and efficient database solutions.
- Perform performance tuning and query optimization to ensure scalability and efficiency of database applications.
- Ensure data integrity and security by implementing robust database constraints and security measures.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all database solutions.

Required

Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
- Expertise in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
- Solid understanding of database design concepts, data modelling, and normalization.

- Experience with performance tuning techniques, including the use of Explain Plan and other optimization tools.
- Proficiency in working with Oracle database versions (e.g., 11g, 12c, 19c).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Experience with other database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Postgre

SQL).
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Unix Shell Scripting.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.

- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Oracle certification (e.g., Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate).
