Job Description:
As a seasoned functional consultant with exposure to one or more Sales Force Cloud including Sales, Marketing, Service or Commerce, you would lead functional modules for large transformation programs for our clients in the Retail, Consumer good and logistics vertical. This involves leading workshops with Client Business/IT teams to review AS-IS process, define TO-BE process blueprint in line with industry or Salesforce best practice and OOTB capabilities, capture business requirements and derive functional specifications.
Subsequently, as functional lead you would be responsible for work streams comprising of on- and off-shore resources in translating functional specifications to work products and deliverables (through platform configurations, extensions or custom development).
The Role:
As Salesforce functional consultant you would be primarily responsible for
➢Leading a workstream comprised of on- and off-shore resources.
➢Facilitating high level and detailed process, functional and design workshops for assigned functional areas collecting business requirements and mapping out business processes.
➢Designing end-to-end solutions and ensuring all deliverables produced by your team are consistent with design principles, standards, and methodologies.
➢Leading client workshops covering a range of topics including process design, industry best practices and bring SME knowledge in your chosen area of expertise.
➢ Recommend new features and improvements to optimize and increase use of the platform and align closely to OOTB.
➢Guide Delivery of Salesforce enabled transformation programs with a focus on
o Sales, Marketing, Service, Commerce and analytics cloud
o Salesforce Industry Solutions like the
▪ Retail Industry Solutions - Salesforce Customer
360 – Integrated CRM solution or
▪Consumer Goods Cloud CRM
➢Capturing Configuration requirements and documenting functional specifications where a development object is required.
➢ In case of global programs, work with the global process custodians and various markets to define the capabilities for global template for chosen Salesforce cloud.
➢Jointly Design a hub and spoke model with the right balance of global template vs local customizations to successfully deploy the solution in various markets.
Other Responsibilities:
➢ Lead or participate in practice development and COE activities which support business development, sales activities, proposal response and internal capability development.
➢ Participate and work with consulting offering lead to design and finalize GTM solutions for Salesforce.
➢ Contribute to POV and thought leadership
About You - Qualification and Skills Required
➢MBA from Tier 1 or Tier 2 B-school or Bachelor of Engineering from top Universities with 8-10 years of IT and Salesforce functional or process Consulting experience
➢Minimum 5+ Years of Salesforce functional consulting experience in or more clouds, managed at least 2 end-to-end full cycle implementations (from blue printing, realization, Go live to production support) of Salesforce Solutions
➢Demonstrable experience of delivering Salesforce Global transformation program and successfully deployed a global template to multiple countries.
➢Strong knowledge of Salesforce configuration and best practices within one or more areas of sales, marketing, CRM, customer service and digital commerce
➢Knowledge of Salesforce innovations like Einstein and relevant experience in salesforce Industry cloud platform (Salesforce Retail or CPG cloud) is an added advantage.
➢ Good knowledge of the domain (knowledge of consumer goods, retail or logistics) – gained by working in the industry or have good process or functional knowledge gained by executing Salesforce programs with leading Brands, or Retailers
➢ Demonstrable experience of Agile working practices on a Salesforce implementation, along with planning of activities during the project
➢ Experience of facilitating a design workshop and then translating the requirements into design
➢ Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and solid presentation skills for leading workshops
➢ Strong client facing skills and ability to lead a workstream through all phases of Salesforce implementation.
➢ Flexibility, adaptability, and process improvement approach
➢ Being aware of current trends and technical advancements
➢ Time management skills are a must as well as the ability to be flexible and creative.
➢ Salesforce certification in one or more clouds (consultant or admin certification) – sales, marketing, service, or commerce is a big plus.
The following knowledge and skills would be highly beneficial:
➢ Knowledge of Salesforce Analytics, Enterprise Integration platform and ETL tools
➢ A strong track record of professional success, preferably in the Consulting Services arena
