Director - Al Program Delivery

Location: Bengaluru

We are seeking an exceptional AI Delivery Leader who combines deep, hands-on AI expertise with large-scale delivery leadership. This role is responsible for building, scaling, and operationalizing the global data services and AI project delivery engine.

The role requires a leader who has personally delivered multiple end-to-end AI projects, conducted AI assessments, built training data pipelines, trained models, and consistently delivered measurable business ROI. You will lead high-performing delivery teams (50+), manage strategic client engagements, and ensure world-class execution across data, model, and platform workflows.

Key Responsibilities

1. AI Delivery Leadership

· Lead end-to-end delivery of AI programs including AI readiness assessments, data strategy, model development, model training, validation, and deployment.

· Oversee AI training data operations across text, image, video, and audio modalities.

· Ensure every engagement drives clear ROI, measurable accuracy lift, and improved model outcomes.

· Establish delivery methodologies, best practices, and governance frameworks for repeatable AI program success.

2. Operational & Platform Excellence

· Strategic & Financial Ownership Build and manage scalable delivery teams (50+ FTE) across geographies to support AI projects and training data pipelines.

· Architect and optimize workflows across data ingestion, labeling, annotation QA, reinforcement learning, and human-in-the-loop (HITL) processes.

· Drive standardization, automation, and productivity enhancements using AI tools, copilots, and annotation platforms.

· Own delivery SLAs, throughput metrics, accuracy KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.

· Own the delivery P&L with a focus on margin improvement, productivity, and operational efficiency.

· Partner with solutioning teams on scoping, technical feasibility, pricing, and risk management for large AI opportunities.

· Build scalable org structures, leadership depth, and operational processes for rapid global expansion.

3. Client & Stakeholder Leadership

· Serve as the senior delivery leader for enterprise clients across BFSI, healthcare, retail, telecom, and other AI-intensive domains.

· Build trust with C-level and senior technical stakeholders; lead QBRs, steering committees, and delivery governance forums.

· Collaborate seamlessly with Product, Platform Engineering, AI Transformation, and Sales/Solutioning teams to ensure an integrated client experience.

4. Innovation & AI Expertise

· Stay ahead of advancements in data labeling, synthetic data, multimodal model training, and evaluation frameworks.

· Evaluate new tools, platforms, and partners to strengthen the AI training data ecosystem.

· Drive adoption of new AI-powered workforce tools and ensure measurable productivity uplift.

Required Qualifications

· 20+ years in technology-enabled delivery, including at least 8+ years leading AI/ML or Data/AI programs.

· Demonstrated experience delivering multiple hands-on AI projects end-to-end, including training data design, model training, validation, tuning, and deployment.

· Proven track record of leading 50+ person delivery teams across multi-geography, multi-skill environments.

· Strong AI/ML fundamentals—must be able to discuss model performance drivers, data quality impacts, and training methodologies with engineers and data scientists.

· Experience running a significant delivery P&L ($6M–$15M+).

· Expert in delivery metrics, operational KPIs, continuous improvement frameworks, and AI operations governance.

· Ability to work with senior executives and technical leaders in high-stakes situations.
