The Business Analyst, in a lead role, performs requirements gathering, analysis and documentation tasks required to support the Implementation of clients onto the current platform and new software/services development efforts by performing the following duties
Responsibilities:
- Act in a consultative role for clients and recommend best practices
- Act as subject matters experts within a project team
- Plan and lead UAT activities at clients location
- Perform and/or coordinate implementation of interface design, programming, upgrades, testing and implementation of existing and new HL7 interfaces to allow for electronic data transfer between several Health Information and Business systems.
- Create use cases and test cases for business and technical requirements
- Configuration of communications protocols, data mapping and translations.
- Design, develop, and recommend interface security.
- Perform GAP analysis independently with quality assumptions
- Review Business Analyst I and Business Analyst II work products and provide feedback
- Demonstrate leadership qualities; client communication, people management, presentation and lead meetings
- Manage the software defect resolution process by analyzing and prioritizing defects based on client needs
- Gain expertise across all modules of all ZeOmega products
- Attain good knowledge of the software schema and apply in the day to day analysis activities
- Validate and contribute towards implementation release process, ensuring scope and monitoring software defects identified during development phase
- Consult and report project status to Implementation Managers on weekly basis
- Consult with Implementation Managers and department subject matter experts during customer requirement analysis and solutioning
- Validate client data extracts as per agreed specifications, perform data loads and create data load reports
- Work closely with clients to identify and provide analysis on current client business process flows and determine detailed requirements to create future state business process flows.
- Organize, define, and manage the work activities of Business Analyst project team members as it relates to delivery of software
- Lead on managing hands-on Jiva configuration based on client requirements.
- Create release notes per client release, sign off on said release notes, and lead in all release notes walkthrough meetings with the client
- Ensure the client release is validated by the Business Analysts, ensuring all software fixes and features are working in accordance with the signed-off functional requirements document
- Provide support to client through demonstrations of Stand Software capabilities
- Work with client and internal QA teams on analyzing and providing solutions for defects raised during the QA process
- Document requirements for product approval
- Create and finalize Visio workflow diagrams
- Finalize requirements in FRS (Functional Requirement Specifications), writing the near-final version with detailed descriptions
- Walk client through Configuration Catalogs and document client Configuration Catalogs
- Perform software configuration
- Demonstrate product walk through with clients
- Gather and analyze customer data and user requirements, understand and interpret user needs and goals into solutions
- Work with subject matter experts, IT professionals, and software developers to define project scope and objectives
- Work closely with the project managers and analysts and be involved in project planning sessions to develop assessments and project plans
- Represent the organization in client meetings, document meeting outcomes, and coordinate all internal and external follow-ups to close issues in support of the project requirements
- Create Use Cases and Test Cases for client requirements
- Able to travel to client on-site and support their UAT activities
- Collaborate with system architect and development leads to document all software changes necessary to meet the project requirements
- Work with users and support IT development teams in defining IT solutions
- Translate business requirements into functional requirements for developers
- Take minutes and notes at meetings
- Other job related duties may be assigned
Qualifications:
Any Graduate
Years of experience:
5-7 Years of relevant experience.
Required Skills:
US Healthcare, Integration, Analyst, Business Analysis.
