Role Description

We are a technology research company building a scalable, cloud-native platform that integrates with a variety of services and tools. Our stack includes a robust MS SQL database, a Python-based web API, and a modern front-end built with React and Type Script. All infrastructure is hosted on Microsoft Azure. We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our small team to help us scale our platform, improve performance, and expand integrations.

Responsibilities:

- Build and maintain python Web APIs.
- Take responsibility for CI/CD workflows.
- Develop and optimise queries views and tables in a SQL Server Database.
- Build data pipelines for cleaning and analysis.
- Contribute to design and architecture

Required Qualifications:

- 4-5 years of experience.
- Python proficiency required. Familiarity with FastAPI, SQL Alchemy a plus.
- Familiarity with C# is a plus.
- ML/data science knowledge is a plus.

- Experience with data modelling and database design
- Advanced SQL knowledge (DB tuning and performance oriented)
