Experience in database testing, data warehousing, or ETL testing.
Hands-on experience with relevant Azure services, including:
- Azure SQL Database
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Azure Synapse Analytics
- Azure Databricks
- Azure Blob Storage/Data Lake Storage
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Execution:
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for database validation.
- Data Integrity and Quality:
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, security, privacy, and integrity across various database systems in the Azure cloud.
- Querying and Validation:
Write complex SQL and T-SQL queries to validate data effectively.
- ETL/ELT Testing:
Validate data pipelines and transformations using tools like Azure Data Factory, SSIS, and Azure Synapse, from source to presentation layer.
Certifications:
Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-900) are often a plus.
