What you will be doing:

Our Workforce Management Product team is seeking a Principal Product Manager for Data Products to lead the strategy, definition, and delivery of a foundational data layer powering next-generation workforce management systems  this role, you will own the vision and roadmap for core WFM data domains, including labor standards, labor relations, timekeeping and pay rules, scheduling, paycheck and payroll-related data. You will work closely with Data Science and Engineering teams to design and build scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient data platforms that enable accurate forecasting, scheduling, and labor optimization across thousands of retail stores.

This role requires a strong blend of product leadership, technical depth, and data fluency. You will leverage existing enterprise data assets such as traffic and sales data while defining new data models, pipelines, and governance required to launch and scale a modern workforce management system. As a Principal PM, you will translate complex business and analytical needs into clear product requirements, balancing data availability, performance, scalability, and cost optimization in large-scale data platform environments.

You will collaborate with retail operations, labor, and technology leaders to ensure the data platform unlocks meaningful business outcomes and improves the experience of store teams and associates.

Main responsibilities:

- Define and own the data strategy, vision, and roadmap for a new store labor forecasting and labor management system
- Partner with Data Science teams to design, build, and iterate on in-house forecasting models, including experimentation with new AI/ML techniques
- Collaborate with retail labor, forecasting, and store operations leaders to gather business requirements and validate solutions
- Work closely with Engineering and Technology teams to build scalable infrastructure and integrate with scheduling, labor management, and payroll systems
