About Position:

We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle DBA with strong Unix/Linux administration skills to manage, optimize, and support mission-critical Oracle database environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Oracle backup and recovery, RAC and Grid Infrastructure. This role is open across Hyderabad and Bangalore and offers opportunities to work on advanced cloud migration and cross-platform database projects.

What You'll Do:

Manage and administer Oracle databases (installation, configuration, patching, upgrades).
Implement and monitor backup and recovery strategies using RMAN and Data Pump.
Ensure high availability and disaster recovery using Oracle RAC and Data Guard.
Perform performance tuning, capacity planning, and regular health checks.
Administer and optimize Linux environments hosting Oracle databases.
Automate routine DBA tasks using Bash/Korn shell scripting.
Troubleshoot OS-level issues impacting database performance
Configure and maintain Oracle Grid Infrastructure and RAC clusters.
Implement failover, load balancing, and clustering solutions for critical workloads.
Design and implement cloud-based backup, disaster recovery, and monitoring solutions.
Collaborate with SQL Server, MySQL, and Postgre

SQL DBA teams for cross-platform solutions.
Participate in database migration and consolidation projects.

Expertise You'll Bring:

Oracle DBA: 6+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle database administration.
Backup & Recovery:
Deep expertise in RMAN, Data Pump, and disaster recovery planning.
Linux/Unix:
Strong administration skills in RHEL, Oracle Linux, or Ubuntu.
Oracle RAC & Grid

Infrastructure: Proven experience in clustering and high availability.
Cross-DBA

Experience:

Exposure to other database platforms (SQL Server, MySQL, Postgre

SQL).
Automation:

Experience with Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools for infrastructure automation.
Scripting:
Advanced shell scripting (Bash/Korn), Python, or Perl.
