Oracle Cloud Finance Functional
Job Description
* We are looking for an experienced Oracle Cloud Finance Functional Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) modules. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end implementation, configuration, support, and optimization of Oracle Fusion Financials.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Responsibilities
Lead and support Oracle Cloud Financials implementations and support projects.
Configure and maintain GL, AP, and AR modules as per business requirements.
Manage chart of accounts, ledgers, accounting calendars, and legal entities.
Configure AP processes including invoice processing, payments, suppliers, and approvals.
Configure AR processes including customers, billing, receipts, credit management, and revenue recognition.
Ensure accurate period close, reconciliation, and financial reporting.
Perform month-end and year-end close activities support.
Prepare and maintain functional design documents (FDD), setup documents, and test scripts.
Conduct CRP, UAT, and user training sessions.
Provide post-go-live support and issue resolution.
Coordinate with technical teams for reports, integrations, conversions, and extensions.
Handle Fusion Financials security roles and data access.
Technical & Integration Responsibilities
Work with OTBI, BI Publisher, and Fusion standard reports.
Support integrations with third-party systems (banks, tax engines, legacy systems).
Assist in data migration and reconciliation from legacy systems to Fusion.
Support Fusion quarterly upgrades and regression testing.
Required
Skills & Qualifications
Mandatory Skills
Strong functional experience in Oracle Fusion Financials – GL, AP, AR.
Good understanding of end-to-end accounting flows.
Hands-on experience with Fusion setups and configurations.
Experience in financial reporting and reconciliations.
Knowledge of taxation (GST / VAT) is a plus.
Experience in month-end close activities.
Good to Have
Experience with Cash Management (CM), FA, or Expenses modules.
Exposure to Oracle EBS to Fusion migration.
Knowledge of Oracle Fusion security and approval workflows.
Oracle Fusion Financials certification.
Soft Skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience working in onsite/offshore delivery models.
Education
CA / MBA (Finance) /
B.Com / M.Com or equivalent.
