Help Desk Support Specialist – German Speaker
We are looking for a German-speaking Help Desk Support Specialist to provide first-level technical support to global customers. The role involves supporting users in German and English , ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction while adhering to service management standards and SLAs.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support Provide Level 1 support via phone, email, remote access, or onsite assistance.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot:
MS Office applications
Windows & Mac operating systems
Desktop applications (Anti-Virus, MS Project, Acrobat Reader, browsers, etc.)
Perform basic troubleshooting of PC and network environments.
Log, tag, track, resolve, and close tickets within SLA timelines.
Escalate incidents following defined processes.
Coordinate with Infrastructure and Application teams to meet service commitments.
Maintain accurate documentation of issues and resolutions.
Follow defined SOPs and Information Security policies.
Administrative Responsibilities Ensure timely ticket closure.
Monitor daily service deliverables.
Prepare and submit required reports.
Team Collaboration Support 24x7 operations through flexible shift scheduling.
Ensure smooth and accurate handover between shifts.
Learning & Development Continuously expand IT and business process knowledge.
Stay updated on system changes, issues, and new technologies.
Requirements
Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience Minimum 1 year of experience in IT Help Desk or technical support.
Experience in problem tracking, phone/email support, and customer handling.
Exposure to application setup, configuration, and network environments is an advantage.
Language Skills Fluent in German and English (spoken and written).
Thai or Portuguese language skills are a plus.
Technical Skills Proficient in Windows-based systems.
Knowledge of MS Office, Windows OS, and SQL databases.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Soft Skills Strong customer service orientation.
Excellent communication skills.
Organized with strong prioritization abilities.
Team player with attention to detail.
Able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
Professional, resourceful, and self-motivated.
Work Schedule 24x7 shift-based environment.
Flexibility required; workload may vary depending on operational needs.
