SAP ABAP professionals

Location: Bengaluru

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee end-to-end custom development in SAP ABAP, including reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and conversions (RICEF).
Design and develop robust solutions using Object-Oriented ABAP, Enhancement Framework, and BAPIs/BADIs/User Exits.
Collaborate with functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
Provide guidance and mentoring to junior ABAP developers and review their code for quality and compliance.
Develop and optimize complex programs and ensure code performance tuning.
Work on S/4

HANA migration/adaptation projects, including use of CDS views, AMDPs, and SAP Fiori integration.
Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, code standards, and technical documentation protocols.
Participate in solution architecture discussions and contribute to technical strategy planning.
Support integration with other SAP and non-SAP systems using IDocs, RFCs, and Web Services.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across SAP modules and landscapes.
Collaborate with QA and Basis teams during testing, deployment, and performance validation phases.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

12–17 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development across multiple modules.
Strong expertise in RICEF objects, OO-ABAP, Enhancements, and Performance Tuning.
Experience in S/4

HANA environments including CDS views, AMDP, and RESTful ABAP (RAP) is highly preferred.
Deep understanding of data dictionary, smart forms, SAPScripts, and Adobe forms.
Proficiency in integration technologies like IDocs, BAPIs, ALE, and Web Services.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills using SAP tools (e.g., ST22, SE30, SAT).
Solid communication skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a global team.
