Technical Architect - Networking

Role Overview

The Network Solution Architect will design, implement, and optimize network infrastructure to support industrial digitization solutions. This role involves creating secure, scalable, and reliable network architectures that integrate IoT devices, edge computing, and cloud platforms. The architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure connectivity, cybersecurity, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design end-to-end network architecture for industrial automation and digitization projects.
Integrate IoT devices, sensors, and gateways into the network securely.
Ensure high availability, low latency, and scalability of network solutions.
Implement cybersecurity measures for industrial networks (firewalls, VPNs, segmentation).
Collaborate with IT, OT (Operational Technology), and cloud teams for seamless connectivity.
Troubleshoot network issues and optimize performance.
Document network designs and provide technical guidance to implementation teams.

Skills Required

Technical

Skills:

Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, MQTT, OPC-UA, Modbus).
Expertise in LAN/WAN design, VLANs, routing, and switching.

Experience with industrial networking standards and architectures.
Familiarity with IoT connectivity (Ethernet/IP, wireless protocols like Wi-Fi, Zigbee, LoRaWAN).
Cloud networking (Azure/AWS/GCP) and edge computing integration.
Network security principles (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, zero-trust architecture).
Hands-on experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.

Soft Skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Collaboration across IT and OT teams.
Documentation and presentation skills.
Field execution experience preferred and or willing to travel and manage projects in manufacturing sites, Technical proposal making, and customer interactions.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communication, Telecommunication, Computer Science, or related field.
Certifications like CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent.
Experience in industrial automation environments.
Exp – 6 to 10 years
