Aranyakaa Farms is seeking a visionary Agriculture Technology Expert to lead our transition into a data-driven, high-yield managed farmland ecosystem. With over 8 years of deep technical and field experience, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the "brain" of our farms. Your goal is to use technology to ensure Aranyakaa remains at the forefront of sustainable, transparent, and highly productive land management.
Key Responsibilities
* Precision Farming Integration:
Deploy and manage IoT-based sensor networks for real-time monitoring of soil health, moisture levels, and micro-climatic conditions.
* Remote Sensing & GIS:
Utilize satellite imagery and drone technology for crop health monitoring, land mapping, and yield forecasting.
* Smart Irrigation Systems:
Design and oversee automated, AI-driven irrigation and fertigation systems to optimize resource efficiency.
* Data-Driven Decision Making:
Build a centralized dashboard/platform to analyze farm data, providing actionable insights to the on-ground plantation teams and transparency to our investors.
* Farm Management Software (FMS):
Implement and customize high-end FMS to track the lifecycle of every plant/tree across multiple project locations.
* R&D and Ag-Tech Scouting:
Stay ahead of global trends (e.g., carbon sequestration tech, regenerative ag-tech) and pilot new technologies that can increase the value of Aranyakaa projects.
Requirements & Qualifications
* Experience:
Minimum 8 years of core experience in implementing technology in large-scale agriculture or plantation projects.
* Education:
Masters or PhD in Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, or Ag-Biotechnology. Certifications in GIS or Data Science are a major plus.
* Technical Mastery:
Proven track record with IoT hardware, Ag-specific SaaS platforms, and drone-based multispectral imaging.
* Strategic Leadership:
Experience managing technical teams and collaborating with traditional farm managers to ensure tech adoption on the ground.
* Sustainability Focus: A deep understanding of how technology can drive organic and regenerative farming practices.
