We are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to provide end-user support for laptop provisioning, Windows setup, and device configuration activities. The role involves reimaging laptops, assisting users with Windows edition setup, configuring devices through Microsoft Intune and Autopilot, and resolving basic hardware and software-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
Perform reimaging and deployment of existing laptops.
Assist users with Windows edition setup and configuration.
Configure and manage devices using Microsoft Intune.
Support and troubleshoot Windows desktop-related issues.
Configure and manage Windows Autopilot for device provisioning.
Address basic laptop hardware and software-related queries.
Ensure devices are configured according to organizational standards and policies.
Provide technical support and guidance to end users during device setup and onboarding.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Windows Edition setup.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune device management.
Experience with Windows Autopilot configuration and deployment.
Desktop support and end-user troubleshooting experience.
Understanding of laptop imaging, provisioning, and deployment processes.
Basic knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in enterprise desktop support environments.
Familiarity with Microsoft Endpoint Manager and device lifecycle management.
Good communication and user support skills.
