About the role
We are looking for an engineering-focused designer to join our product team. As a Product Designer at more, you will be responsible for creating intuitive, user-centered designs for our web and mobile products, and translating them into high-quality maintainable code. You will collaborate closely with designers, engineers and product managers to design and develop user experiences that delight our users.
Principle Responsibilities
You will be responsible for designing and owning user experiences for our products with a user centered design process.
You will also be responsible for translating and helping our engineers translate designed experience into implemented products.
You will be working with a design system and will be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed design components, extensive guidelines and accurate specs for the system, both in design and code.
You will be responsible for keeping updated with technological trends, including AI advancements, in the design domain to help realize innovative new approaches in our products and workflows.
You will be responsible for conducting user research, user testing and measuring the usability of our product.
You will be responsible for tracking, analyzing and reporting on product KPIs and success metrics. You will work closely with product managers to identify areas of improvement and make recommendations on how to optimize our products.
Education and Experience
We are looking for someone who is either:
3+ years of experience and have graduated in the field of Product Design/Interaction Design/UI Design/HCI, or a related field with a deep interest in technical implementation and development.
Currently pursuing a degree or have graduated in the field of Computer Science/Computer Applications, or a related field with a deep understanding of the product design process and has a great design taste.
Functional Competencies
Experience with detail-oriented human-centered design approaches
Experience in modern front-end development technologies, including CSS, and JavaScript, with hands-on experience in component-based libraries like React, Svelte, or Vue
Experience with AI-assisted development platforms such as Codex, Git Hub Copilot, or Claude Code
Experience with modern development workflows
Proficiency in interaction design adjacent skills such as information architecture, user research, UX writing, and prototyping
Proficient in Figma or similar product design and prototyping tools
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to articulate and convey design ideas to developers and product managers
