Seeking a Senior Specialist with 7 to 11 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration specializing in Oracle Cloud Services Oracle RAC RMAN Golden Gate and overall Oracle DB Administration to manage and optimize enterprise database environments
Job Description
Lead and manage Oracle database administration activities across cloud and on premises environments Design implement and support Oracle Cloud Services ensuring high availability scalability and security Administer and optimize Oracle RAC configurations to provide fault tolerance and load balancing Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies using Oracle RMAN and Golden Gate for data replication and disaster recovery Monitor database performance and implement tuning measures to enhance system efficiency Ensure compliance with security policies including encryption access controls and auditing Collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate Oracle database solutions with cloud infrastructure and enterprise applications Mentor and guide junior DBAs on best practices and advanced Oracle database features
Roles and Responsibilities
Plan and execute Oracle Cloud Infrastructure OCI database migration projects including assessment strategy and validation Manage Oracle RAC environments including installation configuration patching and troubleshooting Implement and maintain Oracle RMAN backup and recovery operations and Golden Gate replication setups Perform root cause analysis for database issues and provide timely resolutions Automate routine database administration tasks using scripting and automation tools Ensure database security compliance with organizational and industry standards Participate in oncall rotations to provide 247 support for critical database incidents Collaborate with Oracle support and cloud teams to resolve issues and optimize environments
