Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with expertise in one or more of the following areas: Controlling (CO), Project Systems (PS), Real Estate Management (REFX), or Vertex Tax Integration . The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Finance solutions while working closely with business stakeholders to optimize financial processes and ensure seamless integration across SAP modules.
Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to finance and controlling processes.
Configure and support SAP FICO solutions based on business needs.
Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and support go-live activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including MM, SD, PS, and other SAP modules.
Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and recommend process improvements.
Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for developments and enhancements.
Conduct end-user training and create process documentation.
Required Skills
Candidates should possess hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas:
SAP CO (Controlling)
Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
Internal Orders
Product Costing
Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
Period-end closing activities
SAP PS (Project Systems)
Project structuring and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
Project planning and budgeting
Cost tracking and settlement
Resource and milestone management
Integration with FI/CO and procurement processes
SAP REFX (Flexible Real Estate Management)
Lease administration and contract management
Rental accounting and invoicing
Property and asset management
Real estate financial reporting
Integration with SAP Finance
Vertex Tax Integration
SAP Vertex configuration and support
Tax determination and compliance processes
Integration between SAP and Vertex solutions
Tax reporting and troubleshooting
Support for indirect tax requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in SAP FICO with specialization in CO, PS, REFX, or Vertex.
Experience in at least one full-cycle SAP implementation project preferred.
Strong understanding of financial and accounting business processes.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
Skills:
Experience with SAP S/4
HANA Finance.
SAP certification in FICO, CO, PS, REFX, or related areas.
Exposure to global finance processes and compliance requirements.
Experience working in manufacturing, real estate, utilities, retail, or consulting environments.
