Purpose – The Product Manager will be part of the Consumer Experience vertical for our cutting-edge streaming platform. In this role, you will drive the product strategy and execution for group of products, ensuring seamless and engaging customer interactions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, leveraging user insights, data, and innovative ideas to create a best-in-class streaming experience that delights users and meets business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision
Define and articulate the vision for the B2C streaming app experience, aligning with the company’s overall goals.
Develop a product roadmap based on user needs, market trends, and business priorities across platforms and devices such as Connected TV, Web, Android and iOS.
User-Centred Design & Experience
Champion the voice of the customer by deeply understanding user behaviors, pain points, and preferences through research and analytics.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive, delightful, and accessible experiences.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and content teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery of product initiatives.
Foster collaboration across teams to integrate features that drive engagement and retention.
Product Execution & Delivery
Lead end-to-end product lifecycle across content discovery and recommendations, search, personalization: ideation, requirements definition, development, launch, and post-launch optimization.
Define and monitor success metrics (e.g., engagement, retention, conversion rates) and iterate based on insights.
Innovation & Market Trends
Stay ahead of industry trends, technologies, and competitive landscapes in the streaming and digital entertainment space.
Identify opportunities for innovation to differentiate the app and grow market share.
Data-Driven Decision Making
Utilize data and analytics tools to measure feature performance, inform decisions, and validate hypotheses.
Build A/B testing strategies to optimize user experience and maximize KPIs.

Increase in Content Consumption / Watch Time driven through on-app promotions
Click Through Rate (CTR) on banners, trays, and promotional assets
Improvement in Daily Active Users (DAU) / Monthly Active Users (MAU)
Subscriber conversion from promotional campaigns
Retention and repeat consumption uplift
Engagement rate across featured content journeys
Campaign delivery accuracy and timeliness
Homepage engagement and scroll-depth metrics
Performance uplift from A/B testing initiatives
Incremental viewership contribution from promoted content
Reduction in content discovery friction / bounce rates
Contribution toward AVOD/SVOD monetization objectives

Strong understanding of OTT ecosystem and digital content consumption behavior
Knowledge of on-app merchandising and content discovery frameworks
Hands-on experience with CMS and app merchandising platforms
Familiarity with recommendation systems and personalization journeys
Working knowledge of analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Adobe Analytics, etc.
Experience with A/B testing and experimentation methodologies
Understanding of digital growth metrics including retention, engagement, and conversion funnels
Familiarity with CRM and lifecycle marketing integrations
Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills
Ability to interpret data trends and generate actionable insights
Basic SQL or data querying capability preferred
Understanding of mobile app ecosystems across Android, iOS, Web, and Connected TV
Familiarity with subscription business models (SVOD/AVOD/Freemium)
Campaign tracking and performance reporting capability
Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, or equivalent workflow tools preferred
Preferred Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (MBA preferred). 6+ years of product management experience, with a focus on B2C mobile apps, streaming, or digital entertainment platforms. Proven success in driving engagement, retention, and monetization strategies in consumer-focused products. Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and app design best practices.
Experience with agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
