Hoomanely is building continuous health monitoring infrastructure for pets - turning sensor data from
our vBus mesh into signals that catch illness before it becomes crisis. We're at an early and pivotal
moment: the product works, the data is real, and now we need design that makes it legible and
trustworthy for the people who love their animals most.
You'll be our first designer. That means you define how design works here - the system, the process, the standards. You'll work directly with the CEO and co-founders, translating complex health data into
experiences that feel calm, clear, and actionable.
What You'll Work On
These are the actual hard problems you'll own from day one:
● Design systems that surface pre-symptomatic health signals to non-clinical users - without
triggering false anxiety or alert fatigue.
● Translate sensor data from our vBus mesh into actionable daily summaries that pet parents can
understand and act on.
● Build the Ever Wiz app (iOS/Android) and companion web experience, covering everything from
real-time health dashboards to onboarding flows.
● Create the design system and UI guidelines that will scale with the product and team.
● Define motion and micro-interaction patterns that make health data feel alive, not clinical.
● Design for ambiguity: AI-generated insights and probabilistic outputs that aren't always
deterministic - and need to earn user trust anyway.

What We're Looking For
Experience & Craft
● 3–5+ years of UI/UX or product design experience across mobile apps and web platforms.
● A strong portfolio with data-heavy applications - healthcare, wellness, finance, or any domain
where information density and clarity coexist.
● Expert Figma proficiency. Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
● Solid grasp of information architecture for complex, multi-state systems.
● Motion design experience (mobile/web) - a meaningful plus, not a requirement.
Thinking & Collaboration
● Comfort designing around AI-generated insights and probabilistic outputs - you find this
intellectually interesting, not intimidating.
● Familiarity with user research: usability testing, interviews, synthesis.
● Ability to move between strategy and pixels - you can present a design rationale to the CEO and
ship production-ready specs to engineers in the same week.
● Background in hardware/IoT, connected wellness, or consumer electronics is a strong advantage.
