This opportunity is with our client.

We are looking for an experienced  Consultant System Engineer – Linux L3 + OCS  to join our team and support large-scale VM migration, cloud transformation, and infrastructure automation initiatives within a private cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities  Execute and optimize VM migration workflows using internal and third-party migration tools.
Develop and maintain Python-based automation scripts, modules, and integration components.
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git Lab.
Troubleshoot migration failures and implement long-term solutions.
Support cloud onboarding and transformation projects.
Collaborate with Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure, and Platform teams.
Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.

Mandatory Skills
Linux & Automation  10+ years of hands-on Linux administration experience (RHEL preferred).
Strong expertise in Linux production environments at scale.
4+ years of Python development experience for automation, scripting, APIs, and tooling.

Dev Ops & CI/CD  Strong experience with Jenkins.
Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Exposure to Git Lab and Dev Ops best practices.

Cloud & Infrastructure  Good understanding of private cloud environments.
Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies.
Understanding of networking and storage concepts.

Experience with infrastructure automation and Dev Ops practices.

Troubleshooting & Migration  Strong analytical and debugging skills.
Experience handling system-level issues and automation failures.
Hands-on exposure to VM migration workflows and migration automation.

Collaboration  Experience working in Agile environments.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have  VMware, Open Stack, or other virtualization platforms.
REST API integrations.
Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
Container technologies.
Exposure to cloud or on-prem migration tools.
