Job Summa ry:
We are looking for a Cloud Operations Support Engineer to provide hands-on operational support and troubleshooting across multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, and GCP. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Linux and Windows administration, incident response, root cause analysis, system monitoring, and production support. This role also requires working knowledge of Dev Ops tools, automation, security tooling, and compliance practices to maintain highly available, secure, and reliable platforms.
The candidate will partner with infrastructure, application, and security teams to resolve issues quickly, improve operational stability, and support continuous service improvem
ent.
Key Responsibilit
ies:
Provide L2/L3 operational support for cloud infrastructure and services across AWS, Azure, and GCP, ensuring availability, performance, and reliabil
ity.
Perform hands-on troubleshooting of incidents related to compute, storage, networking, IAM, operating systems, and application connectiv
ity.
Administer and support Linux and Windows servers, including provisioning, patching, hardening, performance tuning, backup validation, and access managem
ent.
Monitor infrastructure, respond to alerts, manage service requests, and drive incident, problem, and change management activities in line with S
LAs.Collaborate with Dev Ops and engineering teams to support CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, configuration management, and infrastructure-as-code practi
ces.
Support security operations by managing security tools, vulnerability remediation, patch compliance, access controls, and audit readin
ess.
Ensure adherence to compliance and governance requirements by maintaining documentation, operational runbooks, evidence records, and standard operating procedu
res.
Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve platform stability and service qual
ity.
Work closely with cross-functional teams and vendors to resolve escalations, support planned maintenance, and drive continuous operational improveme
nts.
Required Ski
lls:
Experience:
10+ years Proven experience in IT, with 5+ years’ experience specifically focused on public cloud or hybrid cloud operations, infrastructure support, or production support roles with hands-on troubleshooting responsibilit
ies.
Cloud Platforms:
Strong working knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP services, including compute, storage, networking, identity and access management, and monitor
ing.
Operating Systems:
Solid experience in Linux administration and Windows administration in enterprise environme
nts.
Dev Ops and Automation:
Experience with Dev Ops tools and practices such as CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, Cloud Formation, Power Shell, Bash, or Pyt
hon.
Security and Compliance:
Familiarity with security tools, vulnerability management, patching, hardening standards, IAM controls, logging/monitoring, and compliance framewo
rks.
Operational Excellence:
Strong understanding of incident management, problem management, change management, root cause analysis, and documentation best practi
ces.
Communication
Skills:
Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across support, engineering, and security te
ams.
Preferred Qualificati
ons:
Certifications such as AWS Certified Sys Ops Administrator, Microsoft Azure Administrator, Google Associate Cloud Engineer, RHCSA/RHCE, or relevant Dev Ops, Network and security certificati
ons.
Experience with enterprise monitoring, logging, SIEM, endpoint security, backup, and compliance reporting to
ols.
Exposure to ITIL-based service management and support in 24x7 operational environme
nts.
