We are looking for an experienced Siebel Data Migration Specialist to support large-scale data migration and transformation initiatives within Siebel CRM environment. This role combines strong Siebel expertise with solid database and ETL experience, making it ideal for professionals who enjoy working with complex data structures, migration processes, and performance optimization.
You will be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from understanding business requirements and designing migration solutions to testing, deployment, and production support.
Responsibilities
Configure and maintain Siebel data migration components, including EIM mappings, table refresh activities, and column mapping updates.
Design and develop data migration and transformation solutions using PL/SQL procedures, packages, and custom ETL processes.
Build and maintain data loading utilities and scripts, including tools such as SQL
* Loader.
Analyze and resolve data migration issues, ensuring data quality and consistency across environments.
Support production environments by investigating incidents, troubleshooting issues, and implementing sustainable fixes.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand data requirements and integration dependencies.
Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing activities to ensure successful delivery.
Maintain accurate technical documentation and follow established change management processes.
Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
Identify opportunities to improve performance, scalability, and efficiency of existing migration processes and supporting tools.
Develop a strong understanding of the Siebel data model and its relationship to business processes and system integrations.
Required Skills
8–12 years of overall IT experience.
Strong knowledge of the Siebel Data Model (IP17 or higher).
Hands-on experience with Siebel Tools and application configuration.
Proven experience with Siebel EIM processes, including data inserts, updates, and deletes.
Experience working with Siebel Order Management.
Strong database development experience with Oracle 11g or later, including:
PL/SQL
Packages
Stored Procedures
Materialized Views
Experience developing and supporting ETL and data migration solutions.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on large-scale CRM transformation or migration projects.
Knowledge of system integrations and data reconciliation processes.
Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques.
Experience supporting production environments and handling critical incidents.
A self-driven professional who can work independently with minimal supervision.
Someone who is comfortable working directly with business and technical stakeholders.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
A problem solver who enjoys improving processes and delivering reliable, scalable solutions.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
