Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Manage and provide architectural guidance and scope across pods supporting all roles in the pods
Manage all roles across pods and be technically astute to do so
Administrative support for team
Remove road blocks
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications):
BE / B Tech or ME / M Tech, preferably in a technical or scientific field, with 13 or more years of experience in IT project-based environment, or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and / or training.
Minimum 3 Years of proven experience in software engineering resource management who can mentor and coach engineers to help them grow, conduct performance reviews and foster a healthy, inclusive, and productive team culture.
Guide the team in architectural and design decisions, ensure best practices in code quality, testing, and deployments and provide constructive feedback.
Plan and prioritize engineering work based on business needs, Define and track project timelines, deliverables, and KPIs, Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders.
Implement and continuously improve engineering processes (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and operational excellence
Act as the liaison between engineering and other departments, communicate progress, blockers, and results to stakeholders and Align engineering efforts with business goals and strategy.
Advanced knowledge of Node JS and NPM, HTML5, JS and CSS
JavaScript framework familiarity with:
Angular 6 and above, JS v4+, Express JS, jQuery, typescript
UI testing, E2E testing, Jasmine, Karma, Protractor, Phantom
JS, Application bundlers (Webpack, System
JS), Task runners (Grunt, Gulp, etc)
Oversee implementation of modern CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable, and repeatable deployments. Collaborate with Dev Ops and infrastructure teams to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring processes.
Test Driven Development, Quality forward development practices, with automation at forefront for continuous quality
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in IT engineering resource management.
Experience in cloud environment, experience with Fin Ops, using tools like Jira or Digital ai Agility, is a plus.
Experience or knowledge in AWS / Serverless architecture (Ex: Lambda, API GW).
