ETL Tester

Location: Bengaluru

We are looking for a highly skilled  ETL Tester with strong Snowflake expertise  to join our data engineering/testing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and performing end-to-end testing of ETL processes in a cloud-based data warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute  test cases and test scripts  for ETL and data warehouse projects
Validate data migration, transformation, and integration processes
Perform  source-to-target validation  using complex SQL queries
Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems
Work with  Snowflake data warehouse  to validate large-scale data sets
Perform  data reconciliation and data quality checks
Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and business stakeholders
Automate ETL testing processes wherever feasible
Identify defects, track issues, and support defect resolution
Participate in  requirement analysis and test planning
Conduct  performance and regression testing  for data pipelines

Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
6–8 years of experience in  ETL Testing / Data Warehouse Testing
Strong hands-on experience with  Snowflake
Expertise in writing  advanced SQL queries
Knowledge of  ETL tools  (Informatica, Talend, Data Stage, AWS Glue, etc.)
Experience in  data validation, data mapping, and reconciliation testing
Familiarity with  cloud platforms  (AWS / Azure / GCP)
Knowledge of  data warehousing concepts  (star schema, snowflake schema, SCD, facts/dimensions)

Experience with  test automation tools  (optional but preferred)
Understanding of  data pipelines and Big Data ecosystems
