Key Responsibilities:
Manage and administer DASD and Tape environments including DFSMS HSM RMM and VSAM ensuring efficient storage allocation and lifecycle management
Monitor and maintain tape storage infrastructure ATL VTS TS7700 ensuring data availability backup integrity and smooth operations
Utilize third party tools like FDR A CA 1 CA Disk and EMC for storage management reporting troubleshooting and incident resolution
Technical Requirements:
Good knowledge of DASD and Tape environment DFSMS HSM RMM DFP DSS
ICF Catalogs VSAM ICKDSF ATL VTS SILO s TS7700 etc
Knowledge of 3rd party storage management products and reporting tools
Such as FDR A Stop X37 CA 1 CA Disk EMC etc
Additional Responsibilities:
Good knowledge on software configuration management systems
Strong business acumen strategy and cross industry thought leadership
Awareness of latest technologies and Industry trends
Logical thinking and problem solving skills along with an ability to collaborate
Two or three industry domain knowledge
Understanding of the financial processes for various types of projects and the various pricing models available
Client Interfacing skills
Knowledge of SDLC and agile methodologies
Project and Team management
