Role Overview The Monetisation team is responsible for maximising long-term value creation for the company across buyers, sellers and partners. As Senior Pricing and Promotions Analyst, you will be an integral part of this team and will work on innovating and executing some of the most impactful and complex elements monetization levers of eBay's business strategy, contributing to its financial performance (top and bottom line) and defining the relationships eBay has with its customers and partners representing the firm's largest source of competitive advantage.
This role will report into Senior Manager, C2C Monetization, and will support the team in a range of Monetisation domains, including implementing pricing rate card changes and promotions, managing ad-hoc campaigns as well as supporting competitive analyses and driving insights for any future fee optimisation. As a member of our monetisation team, you will be responsible for the flawless execution of programmes and initiatives, by working cross-functionally across with product, engineering, finance, marketing, analytics and customer service as well as regional Monetization teams.
Key Job Responsibilities Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to set up, test, and launch new fee and monetization capabilities, informed by end-to-end buyer and seller journeys
Own setup and QA for promotions and price changes in pricing tools; implement rigorous controls, anomaly detection, and rollback plans.
Own Pricing & Promotion Operations activities.
Support execution of special pricing deals via CRM (Salesforce) tools.
Deliver actionable insights using quantitative and qualitative data to evaluate pricing performance, campaign…
