We are seeking an Associate Manager, IT Audit with experience in assurance and controls background to join eBay's Global Internal Audit team based in Bengaluru, India. This is a hybrid role, requiring onsite presence at least three days each week.

In this role, you will conduct IT audits within eBay Inc. You will collaborate with global audit team members and partners across different time zones. Your work includes performing control testing, identifying control gaps and business risks, and contributing to meaningful, outcome-focused audit results.

This position reports to the Senior Manager, Internal Audit and plays a key role in strengthening audit execution and collaboration across our global Internal Audit organization.

The ideal candidate is analytical, diligent, and collaborative, with a strong sense of ownership and a desire to contribute beyond meeting requirements.

What you will accomplish:
Independently complete technology audit programs, including control design and operating efficiency testing, in accordance with Internal Audit methodology.

Act as a key contributor within the cross-regional audit teams, coordinating work streams and ensuring alignment across time zones.

Proactively identify and resolve coordination or execution issues that may impact timelines or quality.

Identify control weaknesses, process gaps, and business risks and the convert risks into clear, actionable audit issues and recommendations.

Draft audit documentation and findings, and support the preparation of clear, concise, and impactful audit reports.

Facilitate issue tracking, validation of remediation, and timely closure of audit findings.

Contribute to continuous improvement of audit processes and find opportunities to improve audit efficiency and value to the organization.

What you will bring:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

6+ years of experience in technology audits, compliance, and/or risk management with a solid background in internal controls.

Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, CISA, or equivalent strongly preferred.

Strong  knowledge of business processes and internal controls, along with the skill to recognize control gaps and areas for operational advancement.

Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a practical attitude geared toward addressing challenges.

Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly share audit results with diverse collaborators across functions, regions, and levels (including senior management).

Ability to manage multiple audit assignments and priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.

Proactive, outcome-focused, and collaborative working style, with a strong focus on quality and accountability.

High attention to detail and dedication to accuracy.

Ability to travel occasionally, as business needs require.
