Senior ServiceNow Technical Consultant

Location: Bengaluru

Our client in India is looking for a Senior Service Now Technical Developer in Bangalore or Hyderabad to lead complex platform development across a multi-module, enterprise-scale Service Now environment.

This is a deeply technical role suited to someone who lives in scripting, understands platform internals, and can design clean custom applications.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Architecting and developing complex Service Now solutions using server-side and client-side scripting
Building and optimising:
Script Includes (advanced class-based patterns)
Business Rules (async, display, before/after best practice usage)
Client Scripts & UI Policies
Glide Ajax implementations
Developing scoped applications using App Engine Studio & Studio IDE

Writing advanced integrations using:
REST / SOAP APIs
Scripted REST APIs
Integration Hub spokes
MID Server configurations
Creating complex Flow Designer actions (with custom actions & subflows)

Working extensively with:
Glide Record & Glide Query
Glide Aggregate
Glide System APIs
JSON parsing & object manipulation
Implementing Service Portal widgets (AngularJS, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap)

Technical Environment
- Module experience like: CSM,CMDB, ITOM, HRSD, Now Assist (fully customised instance)
Service Portal + UI Builder
Integration Hub

What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years hands-on Service Now development experience
Deep coding expertise in Java Script
Strong debugging skills (Script Debugger, Background Scripts, Logs)
Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) required
Certified Application Developer (CAD) highly desirable

Candidates MUST Be already living in either Bangalore or Hyderabad for this position!
