Senior Lead Data Scientist:
Leads local Data Science team, in close collaboration with global teams for Data Science projects, collects, processes, and analyzes large datasets to generate insights and develops machine learning models and algorithms to solve business challenges.
Tasks:
Take ownership of data science and machine learning projects that drive key business outcomes and improve product capabilities.
Teach team members, delegate tasks, mentor …
Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business teams to understand requirements, define solutions, and ensure successful integration of models into products.
Communicate insights and results effectively, using visualizations, dashboards, and presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.
Come up with solutions for real-world problems by defining and optimizing algorithms, heuristics and machine learning models
Steer projects that
Collect, process, and analyze large and complex datasets to uncover actionable insights and enable data-driven decisions.
Develop and implement algorithms, heuristics, machine learning models and generative AI solutions
Prototype and deploy AI solutions in production environments, covering model training, evaluation, deployment, and continuous monitoring.
Conduct applied research and experimentation to validate new ideas and convert them into production-ready features.
Professional Requirements and Expertise:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Economics, or similar with touchpoints to technical fields such as Data Science
10+ years of hands-on experience in Digital Supply Chain Consulting
Proficiency in Python and commonly used data science and machine learning libraries (e.g., Pandas, Num Py, scikit-learn, PyTorch, Tensor Flow).
Proven track record in leading technical projects (3–9 months)
Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams (business + tech)
Experience in collaborating with European team members and customers
Personal
