Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Technical Consultant with strong expertise in ABAP development and SAP technical architecture. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in delivering complex SAP solutions across multiple modules and modern SAP technologies including S/4
HANA, SAP BTP, Fiori, and integration frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain SAP ABAP-based solutions across SAP modules such as Finance (FICO), MM, PP, SD, and QM.
Develop and enhance RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
Work on advanced SAP technologies including CDS Views, AMDP, HANA SQL scripting, and performance optimization.
Design and implement SAP Fiori applications, OData services, and UI5-based solutions.
Develop and support integration scenarios using ALE/IDOC, BAPI, RFC, Proxies, Web Services, and REST APIs.
Build and extend solutions using SAP BTP including CAPM, Cloud ABAP, APIs, and workflow services.
Work on ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) for modern SAP development.
Integrate SAP with external/non-SAP systems using middleware, Java connectors, and REST-based services.
Perform system analysis, technical design, coding, testing, and deployment support.
Ensure adherence to SAP security standards and implement authorization checks in ABAP programs.
Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
7–12 years of strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
Strong expertise in ABAP programming and object-oriented ABAP.
Experience in SAP RICEF objects development.
Strong knowledge of CDS Views, AMDP, and SAP HANA programming.
Hands-on experience in SAP Fiori, SAP UI5, and OData services.
Experience with SAP BTP (CAPM, Cloud ABAP, APIs, workflows, integration services).
Strong integration experience with ALE/IDOC, BAPIs, RFCs, Web Services, Proxies, and REST APIs.
Experience in SAP ABAP RESTful Programming Model (RAP).
Exposure to SAP security concepts and authorization objects.
Strong analytical skills with ability to design technical specifications and test cases.
Good to Have
Experience with SAP BODS (Business Objects Data Services).
Knowledge of Java connectors and hybrid integration scenarios.
Exposure to agile development methodologies.
