Required Skills
Linux/Unix administration across RHEL 6/7/8/9, CentOS, Ubuntu, OEL, and IBM AIX.
Storage & file systems: LVM, XFS, EXT3/EXT4, JFS.
Package management: YUM, DNF, RPM, APT.
Shell scripting (Bash / Korn Shell).
Performance & diagnostics: top, vmstat, iostat, sar, ps, netstat, ss, lsof.
Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, NTP.
Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and log analysis.
Qualifications skills
5–10 years of hands-on Unix/Linux administration experience.
Minimum 3+ years in an L2 Production Support role.
Experience supporting enterprise environments with 500+ servers.
Experience in 24x7 enterprise support environments.
Experience in incident, problem, and change management
Ready to work in Rotational shifts.
Good to have skills
VMware and cloud exposure (Azure / AWS / OCI preferred).
IBM AIX administration.
RHCSA / RHCE certification.
ITIL Foundation certification.
IBM AIX Administration certification.
