SAP FICO Consultant – DRC Poland Implementation
Location:
Bangalore / Hyderabad / Pune, India (Hybrid – 3 days WFO)

About the Role:
We are hiring an SAP FICO Consultant with strong experience in SAP DRC/ACR and Polish compliance (KSeF, VAT reporting). You will lead DRC implementation, handle e-invoicing and statutory reporting, and collaborate with finance and technical teams to ensure regulatory compliance integration with external systems.
This role may involve working with or supporting one of Match Point Solutions’ client organizations.
Responsibilities:
- DRC Implementation:
Lead the end-to-end functional design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Document Reporting Compliance (DRC) for Poland.
- Polish E-Invoicing (KSeF):
Configure outbound and inbound e-invoicing processes in SAP to comply with the National e-Invoicing System (KSeF), ensuring proper XML generation and mapping.
- Statutory Reporting:
Configure and maintain Polish localization requirements, including SAF-T (, , etc.), Split Payment mechanism, and Whitelist (Biała lista) verification.
- System Integration:
Collaborate closely with SAP integration teams (SAP BTP/CPI) and ABAP developers to establish secure connections with the Polish Ministry of Finance (Ministerstwo Finansów) APIs.
- Business Partnering:
Work with the local Finance and Tax departments in Poland to gather requirements, translate legal mandates into technical specifications, and ensure the solution meets business needs.
- Testing & Validation:
Develop comprehensive test scripts, lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and troubleshoot errors related to XML payload rejections or validation failures.
- Training & Support:
Create user manuals, deliver training sessions to the local finance teams, and provide post-go-live hypercare support.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Total 10+ years of experience
- SAP FICO Expertise: 5+ years of hands-on configuration experience in SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, AA) and CO, with a strong understanding of the procure-to-pay (P2P) and order-to-cash (O2C) cycles.
- SAP DRC / ACR
Experience:
Proven experience implementing SAP Document Reporting Compliance (DRC) or Advanced Compliance Reporting (ACR) for at least one full lifecycle project.
- Polish Localization Knowledge:
Deep functional understanding of Polish tax regulations, VAT reporting, and specific mandates (KSeF e-invoicing, JPK structures, Split Payment).
- Technical Acumen:
Familiarity with XML/JSON file formats, Edocument framework (eDocument Cockpit), and basic understanding of SAP BTP/CPI integration architectures.
- Language:
Fluent in English. [Fluency in Polish is highly preferred/mandatory] to effectively communicate with local finance teams and parse government documentation.
- Project
Skills:
Strong analytical problem-solving skills, ability to manage stakeholder expectations, and experience working in Agile/Waterfall project environments.
Nice-to-Have (Preferred)
Skills:
- Previous experience migrating from legacy SAP reporting tools to DRC in an S/4
HANA environment.
- Experience rolling out SAP DRC for other European countries (e.g., Italy SDI, Spain SII, Romania RO e-Factura).
- Basic ABAP debugging skills to independently troubleshoot eDocument mapping errors."
