Skills & Qualifications

Experience:

5+ years of dedicated experience with Cisco technologies in a large-scale Enterprise environment.
Certification:  CCNP (Enterprise/Routing & Switching) or equivalent demonstrable knowledge.
Protocols:  Deep technical proficiency in  OSPF  and  BGP .
Platforms:  Extensive experience with  Cisco IOS XE  and  Cisco SD-WAN .
Monitoring Tools:  Proficiency in  Thousand Eyes  and  Solar Winds .
Deployment

Experience:

Proven track record of supporting large-scale network migrations or corporate divestitures.

Additional Mid-Level Skills for Deployment Support
To excel in this specific separation project, candidates should also possess:
IP Address Management (IPAM):  Experience managing IP schema changes and subnet migrations common in company splits.
Firewall & Security Transition:  Basic understanding of ASA or Firepower (FTD) to ensure security policies remain intact during the move.
Circuit Provisioning:  Experience coordinating with ISPs for new circuit handoffs or porting existing services.
Documentation:  High proficiency in Visio or Lucidchart to document  As-Is  and  To-Be  network states.

Soft Skills:

Strong stakeholder management and the ability to work under pressure during critical  cutover  windows
