About the role
We are hiring a Data Analyst to sit at the bridge between business planning and data science, reporting to our Data Science Lead. This is a high-visibility role that feeds the weekly inventory call, the monthly planning review, and every launch / deal / seasonal readiness decision.
What you'll do
Inventory & Supply Chain Reporting
- Maintain daily/weekly/monthly inventory planning reports
- Track inventory across FBA, warehouse, on-sea, in-production, and factory stages
- Build SKU/size/color/program/channel visibility on stock position
- Publish risk reports for stock-outs, excess, low cover, and delayed supply
Forecasting & Planning Data Support
- Prepare and validate historical sales, inventory, and shipment data for forecasting
- Run forecast vs actual analysis and surface bias, gaps, and trend shifts
- Provide data cuts for launches, promotions, deals, and seasonality reviews
Factory & Supply Readiness Visibility
- Track supply readiness from raw material to finished goods
- Build reports across greige, dyeing, processing, stitching, packing, shipment stages
- Flag bottlenecks and missing readiness that may impact future stock
Data Quality & Process Discipline
- Identify data mismatches across ERP, trackers, inventory files, and BI dashboards
- Improve master data consistency (SKU, UPC, size, color, program)
- Standardize report logic and build automation to reduce manual effort
Dashboards & Analytics
- Build dashboards for inventory health, demand trends, supply status, and KPIs
- Develop analytics on stock cover, WOC, sell-through, in-stock rates, stock-out risk, aged inventory, inbound delays, forecast accuracy
Cross-Functional Business Support
- Prepare data for weekly inventory calls and monthly planning reviews
- Support ad-hoc deep dives: sudden sales jumps, launch readiness, stranded stock, slow movers, container delays
Must-have:
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets — formulas, pivots, large datasets
- Comfortable with Power BI or similar dashboard tools
- 2–4 years in data / analytics — e-commerce, supply chain, or planning preferred
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Ownership mindset on data accuracy
Good-to-have:
- SQL / data handling skills
- Amazon Seller Central / Vendor Central or supply chain operations exposure
- ERP data and master data management experience
What This Role Will Not Own
Final forecast sign-off, final buying/production decisions, supplier negotiation, or inventory strategy ownership. This role enables those decisions by giving the planning team the right data, visibility, and analysis.
