Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior SAP Technical Consultant – BW, BPC & SAC  to provide hands-on technical support and development across  SAP BW (Business Warehouse), SAP BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation), and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) . The role focuses on  technical architecture, system configuration, data modeling, integration, and ongoing technical support  within a large-scale SAP landscape. The consultant will work closely with functional and IT teams to ensure robust, scalable, and high-performing analytics and planning solutions.
This is a  technical delivery role  requiring deep expertise in BW data modeling, BPC configuration, and SAC technical development and integration.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain  SAP BW/4

HANA data models  including Advanced DSOs, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views, Info Objects, and Data Flows.
Build and manage  ETL/ELT pipelines in BW  using Transformation Rules, DTPs, Process Chains, and Data Sources for SAP and non-SAP source systems.
Configure and support  SAP BPC  – including application sets, dimensions, models, business rules, script logic, Fox formulas, and data manager packages.
Develop and maintain  SAC technical components  – live and import connections, data models, planning models, SAC stories, analytical applications, and security roles.
Manage  technical integration between BW, BPC, SAC, and S/4

HANA  including system connections, data flows, and performance optimization.
Perform  root cause analysis and technical troubleshooting  for issues across BW, BPC, and SAC environments, including data load failures, performance bottlenecks, and planning calculation errors.
Support  system upgrades, migrations, and transport management  across BW/BPC/SAC landscapes, including BPC to SAC Planning migration activities.
Develop  technical documentation  including design specifications, data flow diagrams, and system configuration guides.
Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to translate planning and reporting requirements into  scalable technical solutions .
Provide  ongoing production support and L2/L3 technical assistance  for BW, BPC, and SAC environments.

Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of overall SAP experience , with a minimum of  5 years in hands-on technical roles covering SAP BW, BPC, and SAC .
Minimum  5 years of hands-on SAP BW/BW4

HANA technical development  – Info Objects, Advanced DSOs, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views, Data Flows, Transformation Rules, DTPs, Process Chains, and BEx queries.
Minimum  5 years of SAP BPC technical configuration  – application sets, dimensions, models, script logic, Fox formulas, business rules, and data manager packages.
Strong technical expertise in  SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)  – live/import connections, data models, planning models, analytical applications, stories, and role-based security.
Proficiency in  ETL/ELT development in BW  using Data Sources, Transformations, and Process Chains for SAP (S/4

HANA, ECC) and non-SAP source systems.

Experience with  ABAP development for BW  – transformation routines, user exits, and custom Data Source extractors.
Experience in  performance tuning and query optimization  across BW data models, BPC script logic, and SAC planning models.
Knowledge of  BPC-to-SAC Planning migration  and hybrid BW/SAC integration scenarios.
Familiarity with  SAP transport management and system landscape (DEV/QA/PROD) , including change management procedures.
Good understanding of  finance planning and consolidation processes  (budgeting, forecasting, actuals reporting) to effectively support functional requirements technically.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to engage  both technical and functional stakeholders .
