Job Summary:

The Data Analytics Specialist is responsible for enabling insights-driven decision-making, optimizing operational processes, and supporting digital transformation initiatives. The role involves managing analytical projects, ensuring data accuracy, adopting new technologies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic:
Enable insights-driven strategic decision-making and uncover optimization opportunities.
Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data analytics and techniques.
Organize and manage data insight initiatives, ensuring timely completion through effective collaboration with analysts and stakeholders.
Communicate results and business impacts of analytical initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
Implement precise management plans with transparent communication at all levels.
Operational:
Ensure accuracy and consistency of data deliverables through defined policies and processes.
Manage and optimize processes for data intake, validation, mining, engineering, and visualization.
Analyze and report results of analytical initiatives to leadership, technology, sales, marketing, and operations teams.
Team Management:
Recruit, train, and develop analyst-level employees to build a strong data-driven culture.
Technology Adoption:
Lead digital and technological adoption initiatives across functions.
Drive and enable digital transformation to improve business efficiency.
Provide insights and recommendations to senior management and project teams.
Support adoption of technologies to enhance customer lifecycle understanding, engagement, and retention.
Collaborate with managers to identify themes, resolve issues, and ensure benefits realization.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in Business Operations Management.
Strong knowledge of MS Excel.
Basic knowledge of BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience in creating process documentation and analytical reports.
Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
Proven ability to develop and implement impactful analytical solutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
Diploma/Certification in Data Science or Business Analysis preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in analytics and systems development, preferably in the retail industry.
