About the Role:
The role involves analyzing user behavior, tracking key metrics, building dashboards, conducting root-cause analyses, and measuring the impact of product initiatives. With exposure to large-scale data and close collaboration with product and business teams, it offers excellent learning and growth potential for someone looking to build a career in product analytics or product management.
Roles and responsibilities:
Work closely with Product Managers and Business stakeholders (Growth, Revenue, CX, etc.) to understand goals, translate business questions into structured analyses, and present findings in a clear, decision-ready format.
Instrument and track critical product metrics such as Funnel, Cohort, Retention, LTV, DAU, MAU through robust Event Tracking & Instrumentation.
Measure the impact of new strategies and initiatives by evaluating success metrics.
Analyse complex data sets to generate meaningful insights that solve key business problems.
Measure the impact of new strategies and initiatives by evaluating success & checking metrics.
Perform deep root-cause analysis (RCAs) when there are major variances in metrics from benchmarks.
Define and run A/B experiments; validate hypotheses through exploratory data analysis to evaluate new ideas.
Help in brainstorming and evaluating new ideas for future improvements by doing exploratory data analysis and validating hypotheses.
Facilitate monthly and quarterly planning by evaluating benchmarks, estimating initiative impact and making future projections.
Qualification:
1+ years of experience in Business / Product / CX / Data Analyst Roles in a high-growth startup
BE / BTech from Tier I Engineering Colleges is preferable.
Strong data analytical skills, ability to perform root-cause analysis and problem solve by looking at L3-L4 level data.
Advanced skill set in SQL Queries, Tableau, Metabase and MS Excel.
Entrepreneurial and result-oriented mindset. Strong sense of urgency, bias for action and ownership.
A highly positive growth mindset, always forward-looking and seeking solutions in the face of challenges.
A good business understanding, first principles and common sense thinking.
Ability to challenge members of your team & others to innovate and to think boldly & creatively.
Location:
Bangalore at HSR Layout (Onsite - 5 days a week)
