SAP BODS + Data Migration consultant
Location:
Bangalore / Hyderabad / Pune, India (Hybrid – 3 days WFO)

About the Role:
The Data Migration consultant is responsible for leading end-to-end data migration activities for SAP S/4
HANA transformation programs, M&A, Org split etc. This role oversees data object scoping, ETL development using SAP BODS, data quality assurance, and migration execution, ensuring alignment with enterprise data governance standards.
This role may involve working with or supporting one of Match Point Solutions' client organizations .
Responsibilities:
Define and execute data migration strategy, scope, and methodology
Lead data object identification, scoping, and mapping workshops with business stakeholders
Oversee ETL development and execution using SAP BODS (extraction, transformation, and loading)
Data Validation files preparation
Ensure data quality through profiling, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation processes
Manage migration cycles, including testing, cutover planning, and go-live execution
Coordinate with functional, technical, and vendor teams to ensure timely delivery
Drive defect management, issue resolution, and post-load validation activities
Qualifications:
Required:
Strong expertise in SAP BODS and data migration methodologies
Experience in SAP S/4
HANA migration tools (Migration Cockpit / ETL frameworks)
Good understanding of SAP data domains (e.g., Material Master, Business Partner, Procurement, Manufacturing, Sales, Procurement and Finance)
Proven experience in leading large-scale data migration programs
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in global SAP transformation programs
Exposure to data quality and cleansing tools/frameworks
Familiarity with enterprise data governance practices
