We are seeking a dedicated Tech Support Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru, focusing on the maintenance and optimization of SAP Datasphere and Databricks environments. In this role, you will serve as a critical point of contact for incident resolution, ensuring the stability and performance of complex data pipelines and integrations. You will play a key role in maintaining operational excellence while collaborating with engineering teams to drive continuous improvement across our data ecosystem.

Key Deliverables Provide L1/L2 technical support for SAP Datasphere and Databricks environments to ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests. Monitor data pipelines, scheduled jobs, and system integrations to proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks or failures. Troubleshoot complex connectivity, configuration, and data ingestion issues across the data platform stack. Conduct thorough root cause analysis for recurring technical issues and implement sustainable preventive measures.

Maintain and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent incident handling and adherence to defined SLAs. Collaborate with cross-functional data and SAP engineering teams to escalate and resolve high-priority system challenges. Develop and document knowledge base articles to streamline support workflows and improve team efficiency. Essential Requirements 2–5 years of experience in technical support or application support roles. Hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere, including data modeling, integration, and connectivity troubleshooting.

Proven experience with Databricks, specifically regarding cluster management, job monitoring, and performance tuning. Proficiency in SQL for data querying and troubleshooting. Experience working with ITIL practices and ticketing systems such as Service Now or Jira. Strong analytical capabilities with a focus on detail-oriented problem solving. Excellent communication skills to facilitate effective interaction with global stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Data Factory and Azure Storage. Experience working with Power BI for data visualization and reporting support. Demonstrated interest in identifying opportunities for automation to optimize support processes.
