Job Description & How to Apply Below
About Garage.app
Garage.app is building AI-driven SaaS products designed for founders, operators, and builders who want practical tools that help them move faster. Our products are created in a startup environment where experimentation, rapid iteration, and real user feedback shape everything we build.
We believe that great products grow with strong communities around them. That is why we are looking for a Community Manager who thinks like a builder—someone who enjoys creating ecosystems, connecting people, and turning early adopters into advocates.
The Role
This is not a traditional “social media” community role. We are looking for someone who can build and nurture a founder-centric and product-driven community around Garage.app’s SaaS tools. You will bring together founders, developers, product builders, and early adopters who want to experiment with new tools and help shape the future of our products.
You will be the bridge between the community and the product team, ensuring that users influence how Garage.app evolves.
What You Will Do
Build the Community from the Ground Up
• Create and manage Garage.app’s community spaces (Slack, Discord, private forums, etc.).
• Attract founders, indie hackers, developers, and SaaS operators into the ecosystem.
• Develop a sense of belonging and active participation within the community.
Turn Users into Contributors
• Identify early adopters and turn them into power users and product champions.
• Encourage members to share feedback, use cases, and product experiments.
• Build programs such as community ambassadors, beta testers, and product champions.
Drive Conversations That Matter
• Initiate discussions around product building, AI tools, SaaS growth, and startup journeys.
• Encourage knowledge sharing among founders and builders in the community.
• Create a culture where members help each other succeed.
Create Engaging Community Experiences
• Run AMAs, founder discussions, product demos, and live feedback sessions.
• Organize virtual meetups, builder sessions, and collaborative problem-solving events.
• Launch challenges or experiments that encourage members to try and build with Garage.app products.
Close the Feedback Loop
• Gather meaningful feedback and user insights from the community.
• Work closely with the product and engineering teams to translate insights into improvements.
• Ensure that the community sees how their input shapes product development.
Help Grow the Ecosystem
• Support the marketing team with community-driven growth initiatives.
• Identify potential partnerships with startup ecosystems, founders, and creator communities.
• Encourage organic advocacy and word-of-mouth growth.
