Position: Senior Application Security Engineer (Strong Japanese Speaking Skills) (Contract Position)

Job Description:

Professional proficiency in  Japanese (JLPT N2/N1 or equivalent)  for technical discussions and documentation.
Fluent Japanese language skills (spoken, written, and presentation) with the ability to independently conduct technical and business discussions.
Good understanding of Japanese business culture, business etiquette, and stakeholder management.
7+ years of experience in Application Security, Product Security, or Secure Software Development.
Strong expertise in OWASP Top 10, API Security, Secure SDLC, Threat Modeling, Secure Coding, and Dev Sec Ops .
Hands-on experience with SAST, DAST, SCA, code reviews, and penetration testing.
Experience securing web, mobile, API, and cloud-based applications.

Role:
Engage with various business units, Sony group companies, and external stakeholders to present SARD Product Security capabilities, conduct technical and business discussions, and develop new security business opportunities.
Prepare and deliver compelling security proposals, presentations, and solution recommendations tailored to customer and business requirements.
Promote and expand the adoption of Product Security and Application Security services across multiple business units and partner organizations.
Perform security assessments and review.
