Fashion Buying and Merchandising; E-Commerce​/AI​/Fashion design

Position: Fashion Buying and Merchandising (E-Commerce/ AI/ Fashion design)
Location: Bengaluru

Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end buying activities, including assortment planning, vendor selection, price negotiation, and purchase order management for fashion categories.
Manage a team of Fashion Designers & work in close collaboration with data science, and operations teams to build AI-informed assortments that meet customer demand and margin targets.
Analyze sales and customer data, identifying trends, planning seasonal and core collections, and optimizing inventory levels across channels.
Manage supplier relationships, oversee product development timelines, track quality and delivery performance.
Monitor competitive landscapes, testing new product lines, and providing strategic input on pricing, promotions, and expansion opportunities.

Good to have:

Strong experience in Fashion buying and merchandising and managing a team including assortment planning and price negotiation.
Must have worked in an E-Commerce setup /startup background.
Prior experience in managing AI & tech savvy Fashion Designers.
Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales, inventory, and customer data; comfort working with data tools and dashboards.
Proven track record in demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and margin management within fashion environments.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product, marketing, operations, data science) and influence decisions in a fast-paced setting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong stakeholder management and presentation abilities
Demonstrated capability to work on-site, take ownership, and make data-informed decisions under time-sensitive conditions.
