Job Summary
We are looking for a Worldwide Supply Planner to drive end‑to‑end global supply planning across a complex, multi‑regional supply network. This role plays a critical part in ensuring product availability while optimizing inventory, cost, and service levels across regions, manufacturing sites, and suppliers.
The successful candidate will partner closely with Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, and other key stakeholders to translate demand signals into executable, optimized global supply plans.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain global supply plans aligned with the approved demand forecast.
Convert unconstrained demand into realistic, constrained supply plans considering capacity, lead time, and material availability.
Ensure alignment between global plans and regional execution.
Optimize inventory positioning across regions to meet service level targets
Balance safety stock, inventory investment, and aging risk.
Identify and mitigate excess, obsolete, and slow‑moving inventory risks.
Identify constraints early and develop mitigation scenarios (reallocation, prioritization, capacity ramp‑ups).
Act as a central integrator across demand planning, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and regional teams.
Facilitate alignment across global and regional stakeholders.
Lead or support Supply Review discussions within S&OP / IBP.
Present supply risks, trade‑offs, scenarios, and recommendations to senior leadership.
Translate executive decisions into executable supply plans.
Proactively identify global supply risks including supplier, capacity, logistics, and geopolitical disruptions.
Build and evaluate what‑if scenarios to support decision‑making.
Monitor and analyze supply planning KPIs (service level, inventory turns, OTIF, plan adherence).
Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, tools, and data accuracy.
Support planning system enhancements and automation.
Education & Experience Recommended
Four-year Degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
Typically has 0-2 years of work experience, preferably in marketing, data analytics, or a related field.
Proficiency in planning system such as SAP S/4
HANA, IBP.
