The Role

This is a no-fluff, full-ownership operations role. You will be the person who makes sure everything between the factory and the customer's doorstep runs like clockwork - every single day. You report directly to the founders and own the entire operations function end-to-end. No hand-holding. No committees. Just ownership, speed, and execution.

If something breaks in the supply chain at 11pm - you fix it. If a 3PL partner is underperforming - you replace them. If Amazon FBA goes wrong - you solve it. This role is for someone who thrives in chaos, owns outcomes completely, and builds systems that scale.

What You Will Own - Everything Between Factory & Customer

Manufacturing & Vendor Management

Own relationships with all manufacturers - stainless steel, silicone, packaging
Negotiate MOQs, pricing, lead times, and payment terms
Ensure quality standards - BPA-free, food-grade certifications, zero defects
Build a resilient multi-vendor supply base to eliminate single points of failure
Manage vendor performance - scorecards, audits, corrective actions

Supply Chain & Inventory

Own end-to-end supply chain from raw material to finished goods
Demand forecasting - never run out of stock, never overstock
Inventory planning across D2C, Amazon FBA, and offline channels
Manage purchase orders, GRNs, and inbound planning

Build inventory dashboards and alert systems for real-time visibility

Reduce dead stock and improve inventory turns

Fulfilment & Logistics

Own 3PL partnerships - select, negotiate, and manage fulfilment partners
Ensure D2C orders are picked, packed, and shipped on time
Manage Amazon Seller Central - FBA, FBF, account health, stranded inventory
Drive RTO reduction and improve last-mile delivery experience
Optimize cost per order across all fulfilment channels

Customer Experience Operations

Own post-order customer experience - delivery SLAs, returns, replacements
Reduce customer complaints related to delivery, damage, and delays
Work closely with customer support to close operational gaps

Cost & P&L

Own operations P&L - COGS, logistics, fulfilment, packaging costs
Drive cost reduction across every operational line item
Build monthly MIS and dashboards - full visibility for founders
Identify and plug operational leakages

Team & Process Building

Build and manage a lean ops team from scratch as the company scales
Create SOPs, playbooks, and checklists for every operational process
Set up tools - WMS, OMS, ERP integrations, dashboards
Ensure operations can scale 10x without breaking

Who We Are Looking For

8-12 years of hands-on operations experience - supply chain, fulfilment, vendor management
Has worked at a D2C brand, consumer goods company, or high-growth startup - not just large enterprises
Has personally managed 3PL partners, warehouse operations, and Amazon Seller Central
Has owned a P&L - knows what COGS, logistics cost, and fulfilment cost mean
Comfortable getting hands dirty - this is not a PowerPoint role
Bias for action - fixes problems fast, doesn't wait for perfect information
Has built ops teams and SOPs from scratch
Strong with data - Excel/Sheets, dashboards, and operational metrics
High ownership - treats every rupee like their own

Not a strategy role where you make decks and attend meetings
Not a role where you manage managers who manage managers
Not for someone who needs a large team to get things done
Not for someone who has only worked at large enterprises their whole career
