Roles And Responsibilities
Convert sales orders and forecasts into procurement plans.
Manage sourcing, RFQs, negotiations and purchase orders.
Ensure on-time material availability for production and dispatch.
Maintain optimal inventory levels and avoid stockouts/excess stock.
Build and manage vendor relationships and performance reviews.
Identify alternate suppliers and reduce supply risk.
Track procurement and supply chain KPIs.
Work closely with Sales, Production, Quality and Finance teams.
Improve cost efficiency and drive process improvements.
Ensure ERP discipline and documentation (SAP preferred).
Lead and mentor a small SCM/procurement team.
Preferred Skills
Experience with demand planning and forecasting tools.
Knowledge of international trade regulations
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is advantageous.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
