Job Summary

Shara Circuits Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced BOM Procurement / Component Sourcing Professional with strong expertise in import–export, local sourcing, and online sourcing of electronic components. The candidate must be capable of sourcing genuine components at the lowest possible cost with minimum lead time, while ensuring supplier authenticity and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle BOM procurement for PCB assembly and manufacturing projects
- Source electronic components through:
- Import & Export channels
- Local Indian distributors
- Online platforms (global and domestic)
- Identify genuine and reliable suppliers and distributors
- Negotiate best pricing, lead time, MOQ, and payment terms
- Ensure component authenticity and avoid counterfeit risks
- Coordinate with logistics, customs, and freight forwarders for imports
- Manage supplier documentation:
- Invoice, packing list, COO, datasheets, test reports
- Track orders, follow up on deliveries, and manage shortages
- Work closely with engineering and production teams for substitutes and alternates
- Maintain vendor database and procurement records
- Ensure procurement activities align with project timelines and cost targets

Required

Skills & Qualifications

- 4–5 years of hands-on experience in electronic components procurement (mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of:
- ICs, passives, connectors, semiconductors, and PCB components
- Experience in import/export procedures and customs coordination
- Proven ability to source lowest price with shortest lead time
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
- Strong understanding of counterfeit mitigation and supplier verification
- Familiarity with ERP or procurement tracking systems (preferred)
- Good communication and coordination skills

Preferred Background

- Experience in PCB assembly / EMS / electronics manufacturing industry
- Prior experience dealing with China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and global suppliers
- Exposure to third-party inspection and QC processes
