EBM​/Extrusion Blow Molding - Maintenance Manager

Location: Bengaluru

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Maintenance & Operations:
Maintain EBM machines such as Bekum, Kautex, Jomar, Magic, Meccanoplastica, or equivalent.
Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of EBM machines and auxiliary equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and PLC-related issues.
Ensure maximum machine uptime and production efficiency.
Utilities & Auxiliaries:
Maintain compressors, chillers, dryers, molds, temperature controllers, and material handling systems.
Coordinate with utility teams to ensure uninterrupted power, air, and water supply.
Spare Parts & Cost Control:
Plan and manage critical spare parts inventory.
Identify cost-saving initiatives through refurbishment and spare standardization.
Liaise with OEMs and vendors for spares, AMCs, and technical support.
Team Management:
Lead and supervise maintenance engineers, technicians, and fitters.
Allocate tasks, monitor team performance, and support skill development.
Train operators on basic machine maintenance and safety practices.
Safety, Quality & Compliance:
Ensure compliance with safety standards, TPM, 5S, ISO, and statutory requirements.
Support quality teams in resolving machine-related defects and rejections.
Maintain SOPs, maintenance logs, and breakdown analysis reports.
Continuous Improvement:
Analyze breakdown trends and implement corrective/preventive actions.
Support machine upgrades, retrofits, and new EBM installations.
Drive productivity enhancement and energy optimization initiatives.
