Plant Head - Formulation Manufacturing

Location: Bengaluru

The Plant Head will oversee and manage all aspects of production planning, manufacturing operations, equipment efficiency, and quality & safety compliance in alignment with local FDA and regulatory guidelines.

* Develop and implement production plans to meet delivery timelines and ensure product availability as per order requirements.

* Review and approve the monthly production plan and oversee its execution.

* Ensure all shop floor activities are conducted in strict compliance with cGMP, SOPs, BMR, and FDA guidelines.

* Monitor and enforce entry/exit procedures, gowning (primary and secondary), and personnel hygiene practices.

* Supervise manufacturing and packaging activities to ensure adherence to laid-down procedures, batch records (BMR/BPR), and SOPs.

* Review and authorize plant layouts and operational processes for efficiency and compliance.

* Coordinate with the purchase department for timely procurement of raw materials (RM) and packing materials (PM).

* Authorize consumable plant indents, including chemicals, equipment, and stationery.

* Optimize available resources to achieve process improvements and productivity gains.

* Maintain and improve productivity, yield, and equipment efficiency through continuous monitoring and upgrades.

* Ensure timely completion of internal, regulatory, and financial audits, adhering to all compliance requirements.

* Execute and manage new project activities as assigned by management.

* Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement initiatives to enhance overall operational efficiency.
