JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to:
Production Manager

Job Purpose:

Production Planning and Control.
Position Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
 Production Planning Based on Customer Forecast and confirmed orders.
 Running shortage reports based on the confirmed order and subsequently planning for
material ordering.
 Coordinate with Purchase team to ensure availability of parts for production on time.
 Converting customer orders into daily, weekly and monthly production schedule with
production supervisor.
 Responsible for implementing Kanban system inside the warehouse to meet customer
demand.
 Responsible to maintain customer OTD (On time Delivery)100%.
 Acknowledging customer orders and provide necessary feedback on Delivery date and
monitoring push and pull of customer orders (Interaction with China Team).
 Responsible for timely implementation of Engineering Change Note (ECN) and Engineering
Change Order (ECO).
 Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineer and Production Supervisor to monitor the line
efficiency.

Competencies:

 Should possess strong working knowledge in Microsoft office especially, excel and power
point.
 Strong knowledge on ERP systems.
 Good communication and interpersonal skills.
 Strong Knowledge on ISO 9001 documentation and procedure.
Knowledge, Qualifications &

Experience:

 Diploma or Bachelor of Engineering from ECE / EEE Domain.

 Experience of 4 to 5 years in production planning role in an electronic product assembly
environment with knowledge on lean manufacturing and its associated production
processes.
