Line Leader; Production Machine Shop

Position: Line Leader (Production Machine Shop)
Location: Bengaluru

Hical Technologies Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced  Engineer – Line Leader  for its  Production Machine Shop  in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate should have  4 to 5 years of experience in a CNC Machine Shop , preferably in the  Aerospace Manufacturing  industry. This role involves  leading a production line, managing operators and machines, ensuring quality outputs, tracking new product development (NPD), and maintaining AS9100D and EHS documentation .

Candidates with expertise in  CNC machining, GD&T, process flow, SAP/ERP systems, and troubleshooting  are preferred.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Lead the production line , ensuring clear communication and required outputs.
Achieve production targets  as per SCC, DCC, weekly, and hourly plans .
Manage shifts, operators, and machine maintenance  for smooth operations.
Oversee  CNC machining processes  including  Turning, Turnmill, Milling, e-Grinding, and WDM machines .
Track  New Product Development (NPD)  and ongoing production activities.
Ensure  quality outputs  and maintain related documentation.
Identify and resolve  production issues and troubleshooting machine-related problems .
Monitor  cutting tool life , collect data, and optimize tool usage.
Handle  PO closing, excess material accountability, and rejection analysis .
Maintain and document compliance with  AS9100D, EHS 14001 & 45001 standards .
Train and mentor  new joiners and trainees  in machine shop operations.
Implement and promote  5S, Kaizen, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) practices  for continuous improvement.
